April 2011
The Alsina Group was present at the Smopyc Trade Fair in Zaragoza to introduce clients to its innovations in formwork Systems and Services for Public Works, Construction and Safety projects.
Smopyc 2011 was held from 5 to 9 April in the Trade Fair arena in Zaragoza. This year's edition focused on the international projection of Spanish companies. With this aim in mind, the fair organised a significant amount of commercial missions co-ordinated by ANMOPYC, Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Maquinaria de Construcción, Obras Públicas y Minería (Spanish Association of Construction, Public Works and Mining Machinery Manufacturers). Alsina is an association member and receives constant support for promoting our company on the international market.
Throughout the more than 30 years of the trade fair's history, it has always shown how quickly it can adapt to the needs of its clients and the international market. As a result, it holds a leading position among high ranking European events. Smopyc2011 was supported by 1253 exhibiting companies, covering more than 300,000 square metres, both in the pavilions and the outside area reserved for demonstrations.
Alsina decided to attend this event so as to continue consolidating its brand image and to strengthen the message that we are the only “large” formwork company with its own branch office in the Aragon region. Through this office, we have been awarded outstanding projects in the area, such as: Aragonia Shopping Mall, Santolea Dam, Saica Paper mill, two sections of the A-21 dual carriageway, and the offices of Plaza Center, to name just a few.
The Alsina stand measured 72m2, and was used to exhibit systems for Public Works, Construction and Safety projects. The whole Alsina Aragon team (Logistics Dept., Technical Dept., Commercial Dept. and Administration Dept.) took part in assembling and dismantling the stand, and also in conducting the various commercial tasks during the actual fair.
